چکیده
Objective: This in-vitro study investigated the effect of 0.2% Chitosan associated with different final irrigant protocols on bond strength fiber posts (FP) to root canal dentin. Methods: Fifty bovine incisors roots were prepared using ProTaper Universal system, irrigated 2.5% sodium hypochlorite, and divided into one control group (n=10) no protocol four experimental groups (n=10), which defined according combination chelating solution (17% EDTA Chitosan) activation/delivery method [conventional irrigation (CI), passive ultrasonic (PUI)]. Post spaces a depth 12 mm #1-5 Largo drills, FP cemented self-adhesive resin cement. Two slices 2 in thickness from each third obtained submitted micropush-out test. After testing push-out strength, analyzed under stereomicroscope at 40× magnification for failure patterns determination. Statistical analysis was performed three-way ANOVA followed by Tukey’s test (? = 0.05). Results: The 17% + CI exhibited significantly lower than CI, PUI, PUI cervical (P 0.00). had higher values middle apical thirds 0.00), Adhesive cement-dentin type predominant all groups. Conclusion: use chitosan did not affect Passive activation solutions resulted an improvement bonding strength.

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
Effect of Cyclic Loading on Bond Strength of Fiber Posts to Root Canal Dentin
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of cyclic loading on the bond strength of quartz fiber posts to root canal dentin after different surface treatments of different regions of root canal dentin. MATERIALS AND METHODS Forty-eight single-rooted human teeth were selected. Post spaces were prepared and then the teeth were divided into four groups: G1: no treatment (control...
